Membership, Pa Trustees Support & Communications Officer

The Rūnanga is looking for a person to fill a new role providing assistance in our Urenui office, including member registration and administration functions as well as reception duties. You would also handle communications including Face Book and e-mail, plus add website content, and assist with event communications. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the Urenui Pā trustees’ by handling finance, communications, and preparation of meeting board papers. The role would also handle Pā bookings, Pā hire inductions & after use inspections. Partial working from home is an option. See full job depreciation below for more details.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of the Xero accounting system, be good at compiling reports, be detail focused and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Being technology savvy including experience using database and contact management systems, website & phone apps would be useful.
Knowledge of Te Ao Māori and an understanding of Te Reo would be an advantage.
