Te Kura-ā-Iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano

Ko te reo pōwhiri tēnei o Te Kura ā-iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano mō te tūranga tumuaki. Ka ārahi i te kura kia ū, kia tutuki i ngā mātāpono i whakatōngia, nō te kaupapa o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano.
He mea ārahi te kura e te iwi, e te whānau . Ko ngā mātāpono tekau o te kura ka noho hei tūāpapa mō ngā mahi katoa. Ko tā te kura, he poipoi i ngā tamariki kia Māori te titiro ki te ao, kia whai i te ara ā Tāwhaki.
Ko ngā āhuatanga o te tumuaki:
- Ka whakatauira i ngā mātāpono o te kura, i roto mai i te kura, i waho atu o te kura, ka mutu, i roto i ngā mahi katoa.
- He mātanga reo Māori e āhei ana ki te whakatakoto me te whakatinana i ngā rautaki hei whakawhanake i te kounga, i te matatau me te rere o te reo Māori puta noa i te kura. Tamariki mai, kaimahi mai, whānau mai.
- He māramatanga ki te mana o te whānau, e whai hua ai ngā tamariki i roto i ngā mahi katoa.
- He pūkenga rawa ki te whakarite rautaki e tutuki pai ai i ngā hiahia me ngā matea ako o ia tamaiti me tōna whānau.
- Ka mōhio ki ngā tātai kōrero o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano me Te Kotahitanga o ngā Iwi ki te Tonga - Te Āti Awa, Ngāti Raukawa te Au ki te Tonga, Ngāti Toa Rangatira.
- He kanohi kitea ia e ngā whānau o te kura, e te hapori, e ngā marae o Te Kotahitanga o ngā Iwi.
- He pūkenga ki te ārahi, ki te whakakotahi, ki te whakahihiko i te wairua o ngā kaiako me ngā kaimahi o te kura.
- He pūkenga whakahaere kura. Ko ngā mahi tahua, whakaū i nga kaupapa here, whakahaere rawa, hangarau matahiko me te whakatutuki i ngā rautaki.

Te Kura-ā-Iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano

Te Kura-ā-Iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano is seeking to welcome a new Tumuaki to lead our kura, stay true to our kaupapa and continue pursuing the aspirations laid down through Whakatupuranga Rua Mano.
We are an iwi-based, whānau-led kura. Our ten mātāpono provide the foundation for everything we do. At the heart of our kaupapa is the aspiration to nurture our uri so they see and understand the world through a Māori lens.
We are looking for a Tumuaki who:
- Lives and demonstrates the mātāpono of our kura, both within and beyond the kura, and gives practical expression to them through their leadership and everyday practice.
- Is an expert speaker of te reo Māori, with the ability to lead and embed strategies that strengthen the quality, proficiency and everyday use of te reo Māori across our tamariki, kaimahi and whānau.
- Understands the mana and importance of whānau and the role whānau play in supporting our tamariki to thrive.
- Is highly skilled in developing and implementing strategies that respond to the learning needs and aspirations of each tamaiti and their whānau.
- Has a deep understanding of the history and kōrero tuku iho of Whakatupuranga Rua Mano and Te Kotahitanga ki te Tonga, including Te Āti Awa, Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga and Ngāti Toarangatira.
- Is a visible and active presence within our kura whānau, wider community and the marae of Te Āti Awa, Ngāti Raukawa and Ngāti Toarangatira.
- Can lead, unite and inspire our kaiako and kaimahi, building a strong and positive kura culture.
- Brings strong kura management capability, including financial management, implementation of policy, property and resource management, digital capability and delivery against strategic priorities.
Te Kura-ā-Iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano is a U4 kura.
