Kennedys, a specialist insurance litigation firm with a global presence, is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to oversee the smooth operation of their office. Your Role
In this dynamic position, you’ll oversee key operational areas such as IT systems management, compliance, HR administration, supporting business development initiatives, and delivering strategic Partner support. From liaising with providers to coordinating staff training or preparing reports for Partners, your ability to manage competing priorities will be essential. Your contributions will help create an efficient workplace where everyone can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance: Administer AML/CFT requirements including due diligence checks, reporting obligations, audits, and training sessions.
- Assist business development: Coordinate LinkedIn posts, website updates, analytics reports for partners’ meetings.
- Oversee office management: Handle supplier contracts, insurance renewals, property maintenance coordination, subscriptions and general workflow assistance.
- Strategic Partner support: Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Partners by preparing detailed reports and presentations for client meetings or internal discussions, assisting with decision making processes, and ensuring they have the resources needed to operate effectively at a strategic level.
- Support HR processes: Facilitate onboarding, recruitment tasks and maintain training records.
- Manage IT systems: Oversee software updates, user accounts, cybersecurity measures, and integration of new technologies like AI.
What You Bring
You have proven experience in practice or office management within professional services (ideally legal, accounting or consulting). You’re skilled in IT system administration, compliance monitoring, HR processes, business operations, and providing executive-level strategic support. Organised and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, you thrive in collaborative environments.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in office/practice management within professional services.
- Knowledge of AML/CFT compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to support business development activities like social media updates or directory submissions.
- Strong organisational skills for managing supplier contracts/insurance/property maintenance.
- Proven experience providing executive-level strategic support to senior leadership or Partners.
