With summer coming fast we are seeking enthusiastic and driven tertiary students and recent graduates to come do great things with us as part of our 2026/2027 Summer Student Programme.

With opportunities kicking off from 2 November 2026, we have a wide variety of full time, fixed term roles available across our organisation.
Depending on year of study, these roles pay between $26 - $29.00 per hour.

• X1 Student - Catchment Management (Waikato-Tainui)
• X1 Student - Catchment Management (Upper Waikato)
• X1 Student - Catchment Management (Taupō)
• X1 Student - Hydrology Monitoring
• X1 Student - Maritime Safety
• X1 Student – Geospatial Specialist CDEM (Part-time)
• X1 Student - Stream Monitoring Ecologist
• X1 Student - Public Transport Surveys
• X2 Student - Coastal Monitoring
• X2 Student - Biosecurity Kauri & Marine
• X2 Student - Catchment Environmental Monitoring
• X2 Graduate - Freshwater Fish Ecologist
• X2 Graduate - Fish Passage Technician
• X2 Graduate -Terrestrial Ecologist
• X3 Student - Water Quality Monitoring
