An opportunity for an exceptional Events and Networks Lead to join their high performing and tight knit team has become available. Your role will entail bringing to life a calendar of events, programmes and professional networks that sit at the heart of creating exceptional experiences that strengthen relationships, foster collaboration and support better infrastructure outcomes for New Zealand

The opportunity

Reporting to the Events and Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering Infrastructure New Zealand's nationwide programme of events and member engagement initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the planning and delivery of a range of events, forums and networking functions
  • Support the delivery of Infrastructure New Zealand's flagship Building Nations Conference
  • Manage event logistics, registrations, suppliers and stakeholder communications
  • Coordinate event marketing campaigns, EDMs and promotional activity
  • Support and grow member engagement
  • Manage sponsorship fulfilment and partner relationships
  • Maintain CRM data and support member communication initiatives
  • Deliver outstanding experiences for members, speakers, sponsors and delegates.

About you

  • Experience delivering events, programmes or stakeholder engagement initiatives
  • Exceptional project coordination and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence engaging with senior executives and external stakeholders
  • Experience with CRM platforms, databases and email marketing
  • Digital marketing and social media experience
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, high-performing team
  • An interest in infrastructure, government, public policy or industry advocacy would be advantageous.
