What you'll do:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes by overseeing every aspect of electrical and control design from inception through completion. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including process engineers, utility engineers, and construction managers.

You will be responsible for guiding contractors through complex installations while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards.   • Lead and manage the electrical and control design aspects of multiple projects, ensuring all designs comply with New Zealand regulations as well as internal company standards.

  • Collaborate effectively with process engineers, utility engineers, and construction managers during both the design and construction stages to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Manage relationships with electrical and control contractors, monitoring their progress against timelines, scope requirements, standards compliance, and variation management protocols.
  • Coordinate project documentation and reporting to maintain transparency across all stakeholders involved in the delivery process.
  • Support the implementation of best practices in electrical engineering by sharing knowledge with team members and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Utilise advanced tools such as Electrical CAD and modelling software to develop accurate designs and facilitate efficient project execution.
  • Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during installation phases to protect both personnel and equipment.Participate in regular project meetings to provide updates on progress, address challenges collaboratively, and celebrate milestones achieved together.
