The Senior Payroll Functional Analyst is responsible for delivering and implementing a programme of work related to People and Culture identified HRIS system changes that:
- ensure we meet our legal and employment contract obligations and internal policy positions
- improve the functionality of the system to provide users with a better experience
Reporting into Sanjay Arya you will be well supported in this role. This is an integral, stimulating, challenging position, responsible for coaching, mentoring and working with the Payroll and HRIS Manager to determine the work allocation requirements across the HRIS Support team, ensuring the successful delivery of the system programme of work.
Your day will be varied and will involve the following:
- Supporting payroll BAU on day-to-day issues
- Configuration changes, testing and technical support
- Business analysis
- Continuous improvement and risk management
- Relationship management
Ngā tohu me ngā wheako - Qualifications and experience
Ideally, you will bring strong experience in HR Information Technology or HR systems support and maintenance, built up over many years in similar roles, coupled with proven experience coaching and mentoring junior team members, with the ability to coordinate work and achieve outcomes through others.
To ensure your success in this role, you will have experience working on payroll implementation projects from a systems perspective, with a solid understanding of project management principles and ways of working, and practical, hands-on experience using MS SQL (ideally including SQL Server 2012 or later). Experience working with multiple HRIS platforms, with TechnologyOne exposure being a real plus.
