Kaiārataki Wāhine (Mahi a Niwareka) – Te Whāriki Manawāhine o Hauraki (Hauraki Rohe)
Te Whāriki Manawāhine o Hauraki is seeking a committed Māori social worker to support wāhine and whānau healing from sexual and whānau violence through kaupapa Māori approaches. This role sits within a tangata whenua organisation dedicated to restoring mana, strengthening whānau wellbeing, and leading positive change across the rohe.
You will deliver culturally grounded social work practice, advocate across health and justice systems, and contribute to service development that upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Confidence in applying mātauranga Māori, strong relationship-building skills, and SWRB registration or eligibility are essential. Experience working with whānau violence, trauma, and kaupapa Māori frameworks will support your success.
