Lead the Way in Group Fitness - Shape Wellbeing Across Pōneke

Are you ready to step up as a leader in group exercise in 2026, inspiring others and helping our communities thrive? We're seeking Group Exercise Instructors who are passionate, reliable, and committed to delivering quality classes that make a real difference for the people of Pōneke.

  • Deliver classes across our recreation centres sites at Karori and Nairnville, adapting to the needs of our diverse community
  • Uphold our values of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement

Your role:

Instruct group exercise classes to the highest standard, ensuring every participant feels welcome and challenged.

You will also:

  • Provide outstanding customer care and foster a supportive, connected environment
  • Work rostered hours across 7 days a week, with classes running between 6.15am and 7.30pm - flexibility is essential
  • Minimum of one hour per week guaranteed; starting rate is from $45.00 per class
  • Successful candidates will start in January 2026

Who we're looking for:

  • People who lead by example, communicate clearly, and demonstrate strong customer service skills
  • Those who can build strong relationships and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Experience in group fitness is valued, but your attitude and commitment to community wellbeing matter most.
