Reports to: Marketing Manager
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Established in 1994, Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation (NGO) that provides breast cancer education and awareness, medical research, training grants, advocacy and supports Kiwis with breast cancer. Our vision is zero deaths from breast cancer. Currently over 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer and over 650 die from breast cancer every year. BCFNZ’s programmes are evidence-based and overseen by its medical advisory committee.

Key Purpose of Position:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a critical role in helping the organisation deliver its vision of zero deaths from breast cancer by supporting our key business areas in their marketing activities, assisting in the development and delivery of campaigns, and planning and generating well researched, relevant and on brand content across multiple platforms to reach and engage large and diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with teams throughout the organisation from ideation through to execution on a range of marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging visual and written multi-channel content for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ’s website, social media platforms, and marketing collateral that tells stories and promotes lifesaving initiatives.
- Oversee, create, collaborate on and schedule content throughout appropriate channels (e.g. BCFNZ website, social media platforms, eDMs, etc.).
- Plan, manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns.
- Analyse marketing trends and conduct research to support the development of new marketing initiatives.
- Measure, analyse report and provide insights based on marketing performance, and identify areas for improvement through data-driven decisions.
- Manage multiple priorities and assignments in an active environment to deliver quality work, on-time and with accuracy.
Skills, Experience and Education:
- 1-3 years in a marketing role with a proven track record of developing, implementing and evaluating successful marketing campaigns.
- A passion for engaging and connecting with diverse audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience and capabilities in creating engaging content across social channels, emails and more.
- Experience with content management systems, social listening and publishing tools.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse social media metrics and use data to inform decision making.
- Strong organisational skills, capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines, and effective collaboration with various departments to align efforts.
- Working knowledge of a design application and associated tools (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
- Any experience with photography / or videography is not required but would be viewed favourably.

Working Conditions:
- Hours of work: 40 hours per week
- WFH available 2 days per week, with office attendance on a Wednesday
- You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand
