Te Kāhui Hauora o Te Tauihu Iwi Māori Partnership Board is the collective voice of eight iwi at the top of the South Island, working together to champion equitable health and wellbeing outcomes for Māori, their whanau and communities across the region.
We are now seeking a Pouwhakahaere with strategic foresight, operational excellence, and cultural integrity. This is a senior leadership position for someone who brings not only a strong background in management but also a deep understanding of Te Tauihu and the aspirations we hold for our people’s wellbeing. You will be responsible for turning the Board’s strategic vision into action, strengthening relationships with iwi, health providers, NGO’s, Te Whatu Ora and other key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, who can walk confidently in Te Ao Maori and navigate a complex policy environments. You will provide sound operational oversight, ensure robust accountability and reporting systems, and lead a small, committed team with clarity and purpose.
