About Us

Manaaki Rangatahi is Aotearoa New Zealand's only collective dedicated to addressing youth housing insecurity and homelessness. Guided by principles of manaakitanga and kotahitanga, we work across the motu to ensure every rangatahihas access to safe, stable housing and support to thrive.

The Role: Executive PA/Administration and Project Kaiawhina

We're seeking a detail-oriented Executive Administrative Coordinator for a 6-month part-time contract (25 hours weekly) with opportunity to become permanent. Work from home, office, and attend in-person commitments in Tāmaki Makaurau and across Aotearoa.

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project support to the Tumu Whakarae and Trust board
  • Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and take initiative as needed
  • Support invoicing, payroll, Xero, and expense claims
  • Assist with website and social media management
  • Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver solution-focused communication
  • Manage projects as required

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in housing/social services sector and with youth andMāori/Pasifika communities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of te reo me ōna tikanga (highly desired)
  • Sense of humor and ability to thrive with limited direction
  • Commitment to social justice and ending youth homelessness
