About the role

Step into this newly created role, where you'll be at the heart of strengthening and growing Māori relationships and partnerships. Supporting the Pouhere Māori (GM Māori), you'll play a key role in bringing Genesis' Māori Rautaki to life - managing schedules, organizing hui, arranging travel, and assisting with community engagement initiatives.

In addition, you'll support the Pouhere Māori in implementing the Iwi relationship strategy and annual work plans. You'll ensure smooth communication and operations, acting as a vital extension of the Pouhere Māori's efforts. This role offers you the opportunity to actively contribute to meaningful strategic initiatives that strengthen Māori engagement and relationships.

About you

You're highly organized, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can juggle multiple tasks with ease. With strong communication skills, you're ideally fluent in Te Reo Māori and have a deep understanding of Tikanga Māori. You have a natural talent for building connections and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Your attention to detail ensures that all communications are polished, clear, and impactful. If you have experience in coordination and are passionate about supporting the development of Māori relationships and partnerships, we'd love to hear from you!
