We have an opportunity for an experienced Principal Policy Adviser to join our Media & Screen Policy team. This is a permanent position, reporting to the Manager, Media & Screen Policy.

Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role
Media informs and entertains people, encourages debate, and connects communities and business. Government invests in media to ensure that all New Zealanders can access reliable, trusted information and quality local content that supports our open, participative democracy and reflects our cultural identity. 

We are looking for an experienced Principal Policy Adviser who will lead projects and provide high quality advice on key media and screen policy issues, including delivering legislative reforms. The role is highly collaborative, and you will need the confidence and proven ability to drive complex policy work forward while developing and managing relationships at all levels across government and the wider media and creative sectors.
