Are you a skilled accountant with a proven track record in medium to large organisations?
We are seeking a Management Accountant to provide crucial financial support and analysis for 12 months fixed term to cover parental leave. This is a full-time role; however, we welcome applications from experienced candidates seeking flexible or part-time arrangements and are open to discussing options that meet both your needs and ours.
You'll be involved in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering, directly influencing Council decision-making. You'll collaborate with internal clients and play a key role in coordinating team workstreams. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in a diverse range of management reporting and partner with teams across the organisation to drive positive financial outcomes.
Strong data management skills are essential. You'll need to efficiently work with data from various sources, demonstrating proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting, and a solid understanding of database functionality. Experience in either the public or commercial sectors is valuable, but familiarity with corporate-level systems and data manipulation is a must.
