Mō te tūranga mahi - About the role
As a Procurement Partner, reporting to the Manager, Procurement Business Partnering, you will provide advice and support to the business to deal with a range of different procurement, supplier, and commercial related needs. You'll work as part of a team of Senior Procurement Partners, Procurement Partners and Advisors, taking an enterprise view in a portfolio-based structure.
This role has a particular focus on our Māori Health Partnerships team and other areas that support the delivery of Māori health initiatives. You will work closely with our Māori Health Partnerships team and others at various levels of the business to help develop and deliver prioritised procurement activities, ensuring the work is well planned and delivered on time. Working with your Senior Procurement colleagues, you'll support the team to broaden their knowledge and understanding of Kaupapa Maori.
With the support of senior colleagues, you will also work with iwi and community based kaupapa Māori providers to design and deliver kaupapa Māori solutions.
This is a Wellington-based, fixed-term role until June 2026.
The base salary range for this role is $101,287 - $142,993 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

Mōu - About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- A good understanding and application of NZGPR, to support and enable the delivery of innovative procurement solutions, strategies, and end-to-end procurements aligned to the Māori Health action plan and ACC's enterprise strategy Huakina Te Rā
- An in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and approaches that honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori as the Crown's Tiriti partners. This role requires innovation and connection with social sector commissioning approaches to develop and implement innovative procurement strategies
- A good understanding of, and experience in tikanga and mātauranga Māori would be an advantage
This role is key to supporting and delivering Māori health services and initiatives that improve the lives of Māori and all New Zealanders. Through these solutions, you will be supporting people in Aotearoa to recover from injury and be safe by improving access, experience, and outcomes for Māori.
