In this exciting part-time casual role, you will support Māori learners through their trade training journey.
We need you, if you can inspire and encourage our apprentices, build their confidence and uplift their mana as you guide their progress toward a brighter future as a qualified professional in their field.
MITO supports on-job learning and career development for the automotive, commercial road transport, extractives, gas and logistics industries.
We work with learners, their employers and training providers, to ensure people get the best possible opportunities to learn and advance their career, while developing a skilled workforce for the industries we serve.
We’d love to hear from you if you possess:
- The ability to build trust and strong relationships quickly
- Listen with empathy, and communicate simply and effectively
- An understanding of Māori culture, values and tīkanga
- Have a passion for supporting Maori to achieve their qualifications and career goals
- The right to live and work in New Zealand.
Being trade qualified and having completed a New Zealand apprenticeship is an advantage. For all other elements of this role, training will be provided.
This is a highly rewarding casual role where you can share your expertise and experience with the next generation of Automotive Technicians.
