Are you a customer and development focussed finance professional looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Do you want to work in the creative sector where no two days are ever the same?

To cover a parental leave absence, Te Papa is seeking to employ a fixed-term Manager for our Finance Business Partnering and Development team. Leading a team of two, you'll work in a matrix-like way with key members of the Finance team to deliver Finance Business Partnering and Finance Systems services.

This is a hands-on role, and ideally, candidates will be able to hit the ground running and have a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others to achieve overall team goals and deadlines.

Applicants will have the following:

  • The ability to lead a small team to achieve organisation-focussed outcomes
  • A proven track record of providing outstanding support and advice in a financial environment
  • The technical know-how to lead and develop financial modeling, budgeting, and financial elements of business planning processes
  • The ability to work with a wide range of people and to understand wide ranging business functions
  • A can-do approach and an open mind to working for the benefit of all
  • Excellent time management skills and experience in dealing with competing demands
  • A relevant professional qualification and/or experience

An indication of the appointment salary range for this role is $120k to $140k per annum, and a final offer will be made to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
