Account Executive - Digital

Mana Communications is looking for a tech-savvy and creative digital marketing whiz to join our growing team in Wellington to drive the delivery of engaging digital communications and advertising for a variety of our clients.
About you:
Based in Wellington, you’ve got a minimum of 1-2 years of experience (we will also consider exceptional graduates) working in a digital marketing role with client-facing responsibilities in the following key areas:
- Amazing Google AdWords skills and a proven track record of driving excellent results
- Google Analytics skills – you know how to look under the hood and track digital efforts
- Social media skills - you know your way around Meta campaigns and enjoy getting creative in the social space
This is a great opportunity for someone with digital expertise, who is a step ahead in understanding the ever-changing world of digital communications and has lots of initiative and creative flair.
You want to - and can - work with different types of media. You can drive Google Ad campaigns that go above and beyond, know how to engage an audience and you have a fantastic eye for authentic and aesthetic ad creative.
We are privileged to regularly work in Te Ao Māori, so experience in this space is preferred but not necessary.
We are less concerned about where you come from than where you want to go – a background in agency, or inhouse roles will all be considered as long as you’re the right fit on a personal and professional level.

We also operate on a 9-day fortnight where we take off every second Monday. This allows for an extra 26 days of leave per year, but on full pay. We also work from home once a week - and this fluctuates depending on what we've got on.
The role:
Digital Account Executive is a newly created role designed to elevate and grow our client’s digital channels in support of their corporate communication and marketing strategies.
You’ll report to our Senior Account Manager - Digital and collaborate with the wider team.
You will work closely with all team members and have the opportunity to help with other communication efforts if you are interested, such as PR. There will always be room for you to explore, learn and grow.
You will:
- Develop, publish and manage Google Ads and campaigns across some of our client accounts
- Keep track of progress and find areas for growth and improvement for our clients’ digital marketing through Google Analytics and other analytical tools
- Generate regular, post-campaign and ad hoc reports on digital channel performance providing insights and recommendations
- Create and monitor Meta ad campaigns and organic social content.
Skills
- You are confident in running Google Ads campaigns and achieving outstanding results
- You have some knowledge of main social media platforms for both organic and paid posting
- You have got great strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills - always focusing on innovative but measurable solutions
- Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proven experience copy writing for various channels social media, email marketing/EDM, websites
- Bright, an ability to problem-solve and think creatively, hard-working, results-driven
And we’d also love to see (but not essential):
- Te reo proficiency, experience working in te ao Māori
- Experience in e-commerce
