He angitūtanga: About the Role:

Based in Rotorua, the Kaiwhakataka | Administrator (Trust and Property) is responsible for providing administration support to their team, assisting with the delivery of professional trustee services. 

This role requires occasional travel and weekend work.

Responsibilities this role includes:

  • Assisting with administrative tasks to support to the Trust and Property team and the Rotorua office. 
  • Attend meetings of owners and trustees, setting up meeting rooms/zoom, minute taking, and distribution of meeting materials
  • Assist with preparation of materials for owner and trustee meetings as well as Māori land court hearings
  • Processing of invoices for payment
  • Updating core administration systems in accordance with our processes

He korero mou: What we are looking for:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or administration role, gained ideally within medium to large organisations  
  • A strong team player, that seamlessly works across the team to support core activities
  • An ability to build relationships both internally and externally through open and clear communication, both verbal and written
  • Good time management and organisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, technically savvy with the confidence to navigate multiple systems
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience or an understanding of the rural sector would be beneficial.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and/or M365 is a plus.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential

  • Pae Tahi- Nō Ia Rā | An understanding and living of Tikanga Māori on a day-to-day level, for example, the removing of shoes before entering a whare, washing hands at the urupa and not sitting on tables (essential)
