Hauraki Primary Health Organisation (Hauraki PHO)/Te Puna Hauora Matua o Hauraki services work closely with our General Practitioner practice partner clinics, kaupapa Māori providers, Te Whatu Ora and community services to improve health outcomes for whānau. 

Hauraki Primary Health Organisation are looking for a Clinical Educator/Workforce Development kaimahi to join our team.  The role will be developing, delivering and/or coordinating training and workforce development programmes and resources for Hauora Primary Care providers affiliated to the Hauraki PHO network.

We require the person to:

  • be a Registered Health Professional with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • have experience in clinical teaching/ education and workforce development initiatives 
  • have excellent communication and engagement skills
  • be solution focused
  • have working knowledge of e learning platforms 
  • be organised and have good programme management skills 
  • group facilitation skills are desirable. 

This role will be required to work in the Hauraki and Waikato areas and could be based in either our Thames or Hamilton office. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in primary health care and an interest in working with tauira/ students, kaiāwhina/ health care assistants through to registered health professionals. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a clinic, on a marae or in a classroom and be creative designing learning. If this is you - tono mai.
