TRONM is embarking on an exciting phase of growth and community development, and are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive to lead this journey. As the CEO of TRONM, you will be the driving force behind their strategic vision, guiding the organisation through a transformative period of expansion and innovation. Your leadership will directly impact the community's future, as you oversee significant projects and commercial developments that align with the strategic plan.

Ngā Kawenga / Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Spearhead strategic investments and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Commercial Development: Collaborate with Manawa Developments to manage and expand the portfolio of commercial ventures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance support, communication, and collaboration.
  • Financial Stewardship: Lead financial planning and management, ensuring the effective use of TRONM resources.
  • Community Impact: Champion the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of projects and initiatives.

Tohu me te wheako/ Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a visionary leader with:

  • Proven Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, ideally within a complex or political organization.
  • Business Acumen: Strong financial and commercial expertise, with a track record of managing large teams and multi-faceted projects.
  • Cultural Insight: An understanding and appreciation of Te reo me ona tikanga Māori is highly desirable, as is a deep empathy and connection to the community you will serve.
  • Bachelor Degree:  Studies in Operational & Environmental Management, Indigenous studies or similar is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strategic Vision: The ability to think big and drive long-term growth, while managing day-to-day operations with discipline and focus.
  • Relationship Builder: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
