We're eagerly seeking applications from passionate, forward-thinking Ngāi Tahu who are keen to put their hospitality and customer service skills into practice and join us within one of NZ's largest tourism entities and part of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, in one of our exciting internships.
Commencing in November/December 2024, these opportunities will provide you with experience within one of our iconic, world-class tourism businesses, depending on your preference of location, interests and what you're suited to - all with plenty of help and support from us!
We have a number of internships on offer, located in Takapo, Queenstown, Glenorchy, Franz Josef + Te Anau which will run over our summer season 2024/2025.
We are inviting you to come and learn, challenge yourself, and most importantly - strengthen your Ngāi Tahutanga and work in some of New Zealand's most stunning and unique locations. Here, you'll have the chance to develop your creativity, initiative, and analytical skills, and take on meaningful responsibilities.
At the end of the internship our aim is that there will be an opportunity to secure a permanent role within the business or depending on your passion and interest, we will provide guidance and support to develop your skills further through tertiary study.
We can offer you:
- experience in a range of business areas
- mentoring
- targeted internal opportunities
For us, this is about igniting a passion for more Ngāi Tahu whānui to further their education, or to immerse themselves in specific areas of the business.

- Registered Ngāi Tahu with a passion to work for your iwi
- show energy and commitment
- have a desire to learn and succeed
