About the opportunity

The role of the OD Adviser works closely with the Principal Adviser OD and wider HR team to design, develop, deliver and implement organisational development solutions and tools for the Ministry. 

We're looking for an OD Adviser to join our small and friendly HR team. This newly created permanent role is based in our Wellington Office located in the CBD and will support our wider HR team to design, develop, deliver and implement organisational development solutions and tools for the Ministry. It has a stong focus on learning and development and broad scope in all areas of OD including but not limited to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, talent management, and career progression.

What you’ll bring

You will have some previous OD/HR experience and are looking to progress your career and get broad exposure across the full range of Organisational Development initiatives within a small agency, or you may be working in a role where you have some involvement in organisational wide initiatives and projects and want more.

You will have a strong team-based approach and collaboration skills with the ability to engage build and maintain strong relationships, connections and networks at all levels.  You are curious and good at identifying and making linkages and connections across work programmes.  Your problem solving and analytical skills will assist you to deliver our HR/OD work programme in a small and busy Ministry.

The salary band for the role is $71,172 - $110,000. The salary offered will be based on skills and experience.
