Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

We have an exciting opportunity, based in Hamilton, working as part of a team to manage Waikato's portfolio of existing global partners, establish new partnerships and develop and deliver initiatives that motivate students and staff to engage globally.

The role includes the management of partnership initiatives and projects in conjunction with staff across the University, building key relationships with global partner institutions and external global stakeholders and a variety of internal and external communication tasks.

Ko wai koe? - Who are you?

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities. You will have a proven ability to develop and maintain positive, constructive relationships with national and international stakeholders along with experience of managing complex projects. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage a complex and varied workload with conflicting demands. Excellent communication skills are required and you will have experience presenting to a variety of audiences and writing for a variety of audiences will be demonstrated. It is important that you are innovative and highly motivated and culturally sensitive with the ability to travel to support partnership development with a ''can do'' mind set.

The salary range is NZ$89,952 - $99,780 per year.
