Kaihuawaere Kaupapa Māori ki Tāmakimakaurau me Te Whanganui-ā-Tara

Ki hea: Tāmakimakaurau me Te Whanganui-ā-Tara hoki, heoi anō, me taunga hoki ki a koe te hāereere.

Mō CORE

Ko te umanga nei o CORE ka whakatinana i ōna whakaaro anamata me ōna uara hoki. E hāpaitia ana ngā ritenga katoa ki ngā whanonga me ngā waiaro ahurea tika, tae ana ki ngā herenga ki Te Tiriti o Waitangi, mā roto mai i tā mātou anga e kīia nei ko Te Aho Tapu me te mahi ngātahi ā-rangapū. Ko tā mātou matatawhiti, kia tautika, kia maiea a Aotearoa mā te ako. 

Mō tēnei tūranga

Ka nui te whaihua o tēnei tūranga mō tētahi tangata ngākaunui, mō tētahi pouwhirinaki ki te whakapiri mai ki tō mātou rōpū ngaiotanga o Te Aho Māori. 

Ko ētahi o ngā haepapa matua, ko:  

  • Te arotake me te whakahaere i ngā akoranga ngaio kaupapa Māori puta noa i te rāngai mātauranga reo Māori, reo Ingarihi hoki, me ētahi atu hapori ako ehara i te rāngai whakaakoranga
  • Te whakahaere akoranga kanohi ki te kanohi, i tawhiti rānei, i ngā wā rerekē rānei.
  • Te whakahaere i ngā kirimana ā-waho tae ana ki ngā Whakaratonga Whakangungu Ngaio ā-Rohe, me te whakatairanga i ngā rauemi, me ngā ratonga a CORE. 
  • Te whakaatu i te herenga ki te Tiriti o Waitangi mā te whakatinana i ngā uara o CORE me Te Aho Tapu hei tirohanga puta noa i ngā mahi katoa a CORE. 

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako

  • He wheako whakatūturu ki te whakahaere i ngā akoranga ngaio ki ngā ākonga pakeke.
  • Te whakahaere i ngā hōtaka whaihua mā ngā anga marautanga tae ana ki TMoA, Te Aho Matua, me te NZC.
  • He koi te hinengaro, he ngākaunui, ā, ka  āhei hoki te mahi i ngā wā e hiahiatia ai, i ngā tini kaupapa me ō aua kaupapa whāinga huhua.
  • He matatau ki te kōrero me te tuhi i te reo Māori me te reo Ingarihi.  
  • He wheako whakatūturu i ngā kaupapa katoa rānei, i ētahi o ngā kaupapa rānei e whai ake nei:
  • Te waihanga i ngā marau ā-kura
  • Te kaha i tētahi wāhanga ako o te marautanga, neke atu rānei  
  • Te whakawhanake āheitanga ahurea tae ana ki ngā akoranga e aro ana ki te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Ngā whakaakoranga whaihua e pā ana ki te whakaako i te reo Māori me te whakaako mā te reo Māori anō hoki.

Kaupapa Māori Facilitators 
 

Location: Auckland and Wellington

Hours:   1.0 FTE (37.5 hours per week)

About the role

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join our Te Aho Māori Ngaiotanga team.

Some key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Scoping and facilitating kaupapa Māori related professional learning across Māori medium, English medium and other non-education sector learning communities.
  • Facilitating learning onsite, remotely and asynchronously.
  • Delivering external contracts including Regionally Allocated PLD as well as CORE products and services.
  • Demonstrating commitment to upholding  Te Tiriti of Waitangi and mana orite mo te matauranga Maori.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in facilitating professional learning to adult learners
  • Delivering effective learning programmes through curriculum frameworks including TMoA, Te Aho Matua and/or NZC.
  • Agile, proactive with the ability to work flexibly when required juggling multiple deadlines.
  • Competence in oral and written Māori as well as English.
  • Proven experience in all/some of the following:
  • Marau ā-kura / Local curriculum design
  • Strength at least one curriculum learning area
  • Building cultural capability including Tiriti o Waitangi focused learning
  • Effective pedagogies in teaching of and through te reo Māori
