1 FTE Full time – fixed term

Based anywhere in Northland

Step 20 – Individual employment agreement

Reporting to New Services and Portfolio Manager, MHAS

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skills to lead out the implementation and development of Mana Ake services in Northland. Mana Ake provide a range of wellbeing services to children aged 5 -12 years and their whanau. Mana Ake services will connect schools with local health and social services to ensure that both targeted and wrap around wellbeing services are in place. This is a new service development for Northland but part of a national initiative. An understanding of the Northland environment is critical.

As the Mana Ake Programme Implementation Lead you will have excellent communication and networking skills. You may have previously worked in education or health services and will have some understanding of the wellbeing needs of 5 – 12 year olds. This will be a critical role, so previous experience in project management or service development is a must. This is a permanent full time position, however if you have the right skills and experience we may be able to support a part time role. You will initially be reporting to the Mental Health and Addictions New Services Portfolio Manager, however this reporting line may change over time. An interim project manager will also be supporting you in your role.
