Achieving equity and facilitating hauora aspiration requires a Continuous Quality Improvement approach underpinned by Te Tiriti to effect organisational change.

We are seeking a Quality Improvement Senior Advisor located within Te Poutokomanawa, our Māori Health Directorate, to evaluate, monitor and report on quality improvement trends in service provision.

A central component of this role will be the design and delivery of a cultural audit process using the new Ngā paerewa health and disability services standards.

This role has an additional policy and document review component and will collaborate closely with our Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Directorate, amongst other internal stakeholders across the organisation. There is also a project management component allowing scope to address quality outcomes and shortfalls that at times, will involve external stakeholders.

Preferentially, you will bring quality programme experience with evidence based proposals and be a highly skilled communicator with a drive to effect positive change. Candidates must not only be familiar with equitable health service delivery but also familiar with Mana Tangata (strength based) hauora aspirations.
