The Manager Commercial Development and their team are responsible for generating revenue for Zealandia through the development of new products, processes and services, and partnerships. It is also this team’s responsibility to add value to the brand, with products and services reflecting ethos and mission.

About the Company: 

Zealandia cares for Te Māra a Tāne, a world class forested valley and ecosanctuary in Wellington. They have a 500-year vision to restore Te Māra a Tāne.  Zealandia is a not-for-profit organisation whose conservation, restoration and outreach work is made possible by an award-winning sustainable business model. Funding comes from visitors and tours, the café, memberships, grants, sponsorships and donations. Zealandia honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi and staff are encouraged to build capacity and confidence across te ao Māori including te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

About the Role:  

You and your team will be responsible for generating revenue and adding brand value to Zealandia through the development of new products, processes, services, and partnerships that ensure long-term sustainability while reflecting Zealandia’s ethos and mission. With responsibility for tourism, trade sales, tours, visitor centre admissions & exhibitions, customer services, including membership & volunteer care, as well as the food, beverage & functions area, which includes the Rata Café, this is a varied and important role.
