We are looking for a recent graduate in Wellington to join our qualitative team and our Mahinga Māramatanga Ahurea (Cultural Insights Practice).
This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning roopū of researchers that work with a range of Government agencies, iwi, Kaupapa Māori and Pasifika organisations and community groups.
Our research into issues such as youth wellbeing, family relationships, physical and mental health, and education helps the New Zealand government make the right decisions that drive positive change in Aotearoa.

What the role requires
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Collaborate with the team about the design, execution and delivery of projects
- Manage projects from beginning to end, including the timely delivery of projects on budget
- Contribute to project set up and design, fieldwork and analysis and report/presentation preparation
- Bring a Māori / cultural perspective to the analysis and interpretation research findings
- Collaborate closely with clients to build strong relationships
- Contribute to the development of cultural competency capabilities across Kantar Public.
Skill requirements are:
- Strong cultural competencies
- Strong empathy and ability to build rapport with a range of people
- Exceptional organisational skills and a high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task under tight timeframes, problem solve, and communicate strongly
- A client centric approach
