As Operations Associate you will assist with the provision of a seamless investment operations function on behalf of HRL Morrison & Co’s clients and contribute to the provision of accurate, timely and consistent reporting to clients and internal stakeholders. You will have good relationship building, client service and delivery skills along with being a proactive problem solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions.

HRL Morrison & Co are looking for an Operations Associate in their Client and Performance Reporting (CPR) team. This newly created role will contribute to the CPR team’s provision of a seamless investment operations function on behalf of the firm’s clients.

Introduction:
As Operations Associate you will assist with the provision of a seamless investment operations function on behalf of HRL Morrison & Co’s clients and contribute to the provision of accurate, timely and consistent reporting to clients and internal stakeholders. You will have good relationship building, client service and delivery skills along with being a proactive problem solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with functional business teams across HRL Morrison & Co.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the maintenance of accurate client records and the provision of timely and relevant reporting
  • Contributing to the operation of seamless middle/back-office operations (investment operations), including supporting the organisation’s current listed trading function
  • Support the Operations Manager in the oversight and monitoring of external service providers
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and update of procedures
  • In conjunction with the Operations Manager, ensure Business Continuity Plans are updated as required in a timely manner and remain relevant
  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate with functional business teams across HRL Morrison & Co.

Key Requirements:

Relevant degree qualification desirable
Prior experience in either financial/accounting/investment industries with knowledge and/or experience in middle/back office and settlement processes a plus
Advanced MS Excel skills and experience in Process Flow mapping desirable 
Strong attention to detail
