He Whakamōhio Hiahia – Ngā Kaikirimana, Te Reo Māori

Ko Te Kuratini Tuwhera tēnei ka mahi ā-motu hei whakahaere motuhake e whakawhiwhi ana i ngā akoranga ringa rehe tuwhera, tawhiti hoki.

Kei te rapu a Te Kuratini Tuwhera i ētahi kaikirimana ki te whakawā i ngā mahi a ngā tauira i tētahi hōtaka hou, ko: Te Pōkaitahi Reo (Te Kaupae 1) 

Me whai ngā kaitono angitu i ngā pūmanawa e rārangi iho nei:

  • He wheako mō te whakaako i Te Reo Māori.
  • He matatau ki Te Reo Māori.

Ka whakawā haere koe i ngā mahi a ngā tauira mā tā mātau taputapu Whakawā Tuihono, ka tuku whakawātanga tōtika, ōrite, pono hoki e hāngai ana ki te rārangi whakawā, ka whakahoki kōrero ai hei tautoko i ngā ākonga.

  • Ko te arotake whakawātanga

Ka whakaū koe i ngā whakataunga a ngā kaiwhakawā e pā ana ki ngā mahi a ngā tauira hei whakarite kei te nui ngā taunakitanga mō te paerewa, arā hei tautoko, hei whakamana i tā  te kaiwhakawā i whakatau ai.

Ka whai te kaitono angitu i ngā āhuatanga e rārangi iho nei:

  • He matatau ki te tuhi i te reo Pākehā me te reo Māori hoki;
  • He wheako, he tohu mātauranga e pā ana ki tētahi Kaupapa e hāngai ana;
  • He mōhio ki te horopaki ahurea o Aotearoa;
  • He āheinga ki te whakawā ākonga me te whai mōhio ki te kaupapa;
  • He kaute pēke ki Aotearoa me tētahi nama Tari Tāke; ā
  • He whai wāhi ki ngā hangarau tōtika, tae atu ki te ipurangi, rorohiko, waea / waea pūkoro hoki.

Ka whakawhiwhia ngā kaitono angitu ki te akoranga me te āheinga kingā taputapu tuihono. 

He tūranga kaikirimana tēnei ka mahi harangotengote ki wāhi kē. Ka whakawhiwhia whakaakoranga mō ngā tūmanako o Te Kuratini Tuwhera. Kei te rite ngā utu ki tā te mākete, ka whakaatu i ngā pūkenga me ngā mōhiotanga e hiahiatia ana mō ēnei momo mahi.

Expressions of Interest – Adjuncts, Te Reo Māori

Open Polytechnic operates nationwide as the specialist provider of vocational open and distance learning.

Open Polytechnic is seeking Adjuncts (Contractors) to mark (assess) learner assessments for the new programme: Te Pōkaitahi Reo (Te Kaupae 1) 

The successful applicant(s) are required to have:

  • Experience in Te Reo Māori teaching.
  • Fluency in Te Reo Māori.

Adjunct activities can include any of the following:

  • Marking (Assessing)

Mark learner assessments electronically via our Online Marking tool, providing accurate, reliable, and valid assessment that is consistent with the marking schedule, and provide feedback that supports learners in their learning.

  • Review Marking

Validate Markers decisions on learner assessments to ensure there has been sufficient evidence against the standard to support and validate the Markers decision.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A high standard of written English and te reo Māori;
  • Subject matter expertise or a relevant qualification in the related discipline;
  • Appreciation of New Zealand's cultural context;
  • Ability to assess learners in the technical knowledge of the subject area;
  • NZ Bank Account and IRD number; and
  • Access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) including internet, computer, and telephone/mobile phone.

Training and access to online tools will be provided. 

This is a contracted Adjunct role which is undertaken part-time and offsite.  Training with regards to Open Polytechnic's expectations will be provided.  Fees payable are competitive and reflect the skills and knowledge required to undertake the Adjunct role.
