We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team. You’ll be positive, energetic, organised and a great communicator. 


We’re looking for an inspirational leader to join Pathways Residential team in our South Auckland locality, as a Team Coach. You will ensure the efficient and effective use of resources for the team while fostering innovation and improvement in order to ensure our service is the best it can be.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.

The Team

You’ll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and leading a team of 8 Support Workers and working at one of our residential sites to provide responsive support to people living in their own apartments.  You will be helping those people we support to become independent in their living, empowering them to live their best life through support with activities of daily living, meaningful occupation and work or study This service supports people to ultimately gain the skills to live well in the community of their choice. We have a friendly, supportive, diverse and fast-paced team environment, where a good sense of humor is essential.


We are interested to hear from experienced leaders who have the ability to support and inspire a team. Minimum Level 4 qualification is a must! As well as having great leadership and people skills, you’ll also have demonstrated the ability to work within the residential setting, and the wider community and social sector.

You’ll also have: 

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in Mental health and addictions environment
  • You’ll be an energising, inspiring others with enthusiasm and a take action approach
    • You’ll have strong networking skills and are able build strong relationships with your local community
    • You’ll have experience and a qualification in health, management or a related discipline
    • You’re a communicator, the sort of positive person who loves supporting, coaching and mentoring your team
    • You’re a great listener, the sort of person who will listen deeply to the people who use our services
