We work proactively with senior leaders to develop integrated solutions for employee and organisational needs to align with policy and strategy. We provide advice and guidance to empower leaders to execute the people aspect of their business plans.
Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
A member of our support team has been assigned to an HRIS enhancement project and we need someone to step into cover most of their job, in a fixed term capacity.
This role is responsible for providing efficient, accurate and timely administration support to HR portfolios and processes. Also, in this position you will establish and maintain quality working relationships within the HR team in order to support HR administration and the quality of information held in HR systems and employee files. This role has oversight of end-to-end recruitment administrative processes and procedures.
Please note: The University has decided that, from 14 February 2022, all staff working on or entering any of its campuses or sites must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You will be required to provide proof of vaccination before 14 February for this role.

The successful person for this role will need:
- to enjoy a busy strong team focussed working environment and thrive on strong attention to detail.
- to have NCEA Level 3, including a good standard of English.
- a good working knowledge of an HR function and ideally knowledge of a large HR/Payroll system.
- high level ICT skills and the ability to apply information and communication technologies to achieve desired results.
- knowledge of financial management processes and online systems.
