Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

We are seeking a highly engaged, and engaging individual to contribute to teaching, postgraduate supervision and the administration of Chemical, Biochemical, Food, and/or Biological Engineering programmes. You will need to maintain and develop original scholarship and research and undertake professional/community/iwi service activities.

The position will align with the Food Engineering discipline and cover major industries/sectors in the New Zealand market.

To be successful in this application you will need the following:

  • A PhD in Chemical/Food, Bioprocess or relevant biological degree
  • A four-year professional accredited Engineering degree
  • Broad and in-depth knowledge of Chemical and Biological Engineering
  • Established and high-level record of research and publishing

The salary will be commensurate with the level of appointment. The Senior Lecturer range is NZ$98,280 to $129,402 per year depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
