Ko wai mātou? - Who are we?

Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato - The University of Waikato is located within park-like grounds steeped in history and culture, in a city big enough to be exciting, and small enough to know who your neighbours are. This is where tradition meets innovation, and we look at the past to help steer the future.

The School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences (CMS), offers a range of programmes such as: Computer Science, Data Analytics, Design, Mathematics and Statistics. If you are ready for an exciting challenge, join our busy, future focused School and show us what you can do!

Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

This is a role for all seasons. You will be involved in a number of varied activities, alongside the foundational administrative tasks that keep the School ticking over, so flexibility is a must.

You will play an integral role in assisting the school to achieve results in key projects, such as communications and events. On-going tasks include working with academic administrative processes for exams, grades, essential documentation and the University's eLearning system.

You will also liaise with the School Manager and Registrars, facilitating communication and follow up actions, administer the Class Representation system, assist with School events and coordinate meetings.

These are only some of the responsibilities that make up this compelling and challenging role. Are you up for it?

Please note: The University has decided that, from 14 February 2022, all staff working on or entering any of its campuses or sites must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You will be required to provide proof of vaccination before 14 February for this role.
