The Pūhoro Charitable Trust (PCT) improves Māori science, technology, engineering, mathematics and mātauranga (STEMM) capability. We are seeking to appoint a Te Urunga Tū Kaihautū to support the delivery of the Pūhoro STEMM kaupapa in the Christchurch region. 

In this position, you will report to the Mana Urunga Tū (Manager). You will be part of a team who will support rangatahi to achieve their aspirations. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a wider team, working closely with rangatahi, whānau, secondary schools, tertiary institution staff and STEMM industry stakeholders as required.  

To be successful in this role, you will have:   
• A minimum of an undergraduate qualification in the sciences or Māori development
• Proficiency in te reo me ngā tikanga Māori is desirable

• Proven experience in working with rangatahi Māori and whānau.
