As the Production Supervisor you will report into the Production Manager and be based at head office and factory in Mt. Wellington. This will be a hands-on role in the factory working closely with staff ensuring production timelines, specifications and quality standards are met. About the role:
As the Production Supervisor you will report into the Production Manager and be based at head office and factory in Mt. Wellington. This will be a hands-on role in the factory working closely with staff ensuring production timelines, specifications and quality standards are met. This will be achieved while optimising production processes and identifying continues improvement opportunities to ensure efficient delivery of service to Robur Attachments customers.

Key responsibilities:
• Increase efficiency and the flow of the manufacturing team by kitting the jobs so they have everything they need to complete each job.
• Responsible for the receiving of inwards goods and ensure parts are correct.
• Reduce lead-times from order to dispatch by looking for CI opportunities. 
• Provide welding and product assemble training to factory staff.
• Work closely with the storeman to provide accurate stock counts & reorder points.
• To ensure quality of product is maintained to a high standard. 
• Work with the design team to make sure specifications are met during assembling and welding of the product.
• Arrange parts for machining and instruct machinist on jobs. 
• Allocate jobs to the correct welding stations.

Key requirements:
• Experience in working in a heavy industrial environment.
• Understanding of bespoke manufacturing processes and the regulatory requirements associated with it.
• Experience with heavy industrial welding and cutting.
• A full and valid forklift licence.
• A background in engineering is advantageous.
• Practical and organised mindset.
