Right now, Te Poutokomanawa (Māori Health Directorate) are seeking an experienced people development professional with the ability to work strategically within Te Ao Māori for an exciting leadership position.
Reporting to the Kaihautu Iwi (Director Iwi Relationships), Te Poutokomanawa, you will lead and develop several initiatives and programmes including Te Reo me ona Tikanga Māori cultural quality and Te Tiriti induction modules, Pōwhiritanga induction programme, and lead the evaluation and assessment of cultural responsiveness outcomes across the DHB.
Your work will be varied, including opportunities to develop and facilitate our monthly Engaging with Māori workshop, develop and support workforce champions, assist to embed cultural wellbeing practices across our workforce as well as leading and supporting new approaches.
To be successful in this role you will be 100% committed to eliminating inequities and achieving the best outcomes for Māori, have confidence and fluency in Te Reo me ona Tikanga Māori o Te Tai Tokerau, and preferably a tertiary qualification in human resources, education, psychology, or related field.
