Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Medical Sciences Secretariat is looking for an experienced and recognized cultural advisor who can strengthen and inform both the Medical Radiation Technologists Board and Medical Sciences Council on what is required to provide quality services for Māori.
This is a leadership role and your ability to influence and provide advice across the Secretariat on the delivery of strategic programmes, lifting the capacity and capability of the organization to respond to Māori as well as identifying opportunities to work collaboratively with Iwi and Māori providers are core functions of this role.
Your extensive networks and relationships with Iwi and Māori health providers to support your ability to inform and provide high quality advice to guide policy development is also key to the success of this role.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, tact and discretion, understanding of the health sector and workings of the public sector.
