About the role 

Te Kaiaromātai ā-Motu

Whakatairangatia ngā kete o te mātauranga ki te ao mārama!

E te tai whakarunga, e te tai whakararo – nau piki mai, nau kake mai ki te Mana Tohu Mātauranga o Aotearoa.

E rapu ana mātou i te tangata e mārama ana ki te Marautanga o Aotearoa me āna whakapānga ki ngā kura, e kaha ana hoki ki te mahi ngātahi i tētahi tīma aromatawai. Me kī, ka whai wāhi ai te tangata nei ki te whakarato, ki te kōkiri hoki i ngā kaupapa aromatawai ā-motu ia rā, ia rā.

Ko tā NZQA, he whakahaere i ngā mahi aromatawai o Te Taura Here Tohu Mātauranga o Aotearoa, he whakarite i ngā whakamātautau ā-motu mō ngā kura tuarua, he whakaū kounga hoki o ngā hōtaka me ngā tohu mātauranga o ngā whare takiura, ngā kuratini, ngā wānanga rānei. I ētahi wā, he whakatau paerewa e ai ki ētahi atu paerewa motuhake.

Ko te whāinga nui, he rapu i te tangata e matatau ana ki ngā reo e rua – ki te reo Māori /ki te reo Pākehā.

Ki te tono mai, tuhia tō reta me tō tātai oranga ki ngā reo e rua.

Nau mai haere mai, whakatau mai rā.

NZQA is accountable for managing the New Zealand Qualifications Framework, administering the secondary school assessment system, independent quality assurance of non-university education providers, qualifications recognition and standard setting for some specified unit standards.

The successful applicant for this role will be required to work in both English and Māori contexts. Applicants are requested to submit their covering letter and resume in both English and Te Reo Māori
