Auckland Arts Festival is seeking a Kaihāpai Hōtaka Māori to support the Kaihautū Māori and be a valued member of the Programming team to help deliver Auckland Arts Festival 2022.

Auckland Arts Festival/Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki is a globally recognised celebration of art and culture taking place each March in New Zealand’s largest city.

You will work closely with the rest of the Festival team, with a focus on kaupapa Māori, Toitū te Reo events and wider activities. 

Desired skills include experience in arts, producing/production or event management with proven administration skills and writing experience.  

The successful candidate will have an understanding of te reo Māori, be an excellent and friendly communicator with great attention to detail, and have the ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a busy festival environment.

This position is full-time, fixed-term contract from a negotiated start date to 14 April 2022.
