The purpose of this role is to develop deep expertise on the contextual, transactional and internal environments of IAG. You will be collaborating with the business and finding evidenced based research on trends and the competitive environment to deliver insights and recommendations on key strategic risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile, develop and deliver strategic work based upon agreed strategy project briefs, with guidance from the Strategy Principals / Executive Manager
  • Define and undertake rigorous analysis, combining qualitative and quantitative business information, competitor analysis and market trends to support strategic choices within the organisation.
  • Develop strategic Excel models and undertake business case analysis as required, modelling various scenarios and defining the likely outcome of different options.
  • Engage and collaborate with subject matter experts to extract key insights and form a position on the implications and recommendations for the organisation
  • Develop /support the production of strategic communications for discussion in the form of presentations, spreadsheets, word reports, fact-packs etc.

Key Requirements:

  • 4+ years business experience, ideally in strategy
  • Structured problem solving capability and experience
  • Business Modelling and advanced Excel analysis skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, experience in planning, developing and delivering communication material to a wide and varied audience
  • A forensic-like capability to identify data issues and patterns, question, challenge and drive data-driven decision making
