At Unitec, we're passionate about the power of education to positively change the lives of our students, their whānau and the wider hāpori. We make sure our learners are well equipped for the future needs of employers, by providing them with a mix of hands-on and classroom based learning.

There are a small number of Kaihautū that work within Unitec's Māia team, and we have an exciting opportunity for someone new to join the team.  Māia is underpinned by the principles and values of Te Noho Kotahitanga, the Māori Success Strategy and Unitec's Manaakitia Te Rito strategy. The Kaihautū role is diverse, but one of its core focus areas is to embed mātauranga Māori across Unitec in a way that supports the success of tauira Māori and all students.

It is essential that you hold a post-graduate qualification or be working towards completing one.

Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer

The role is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.  We offer a range of benefits and discounts including Life and Income Insurance, discounted gym membership and health insurance and more.
