Tuwharetoa Health is a kaupapa Māori service that provides whānau centred services all those who reside within the rohe of Ngati Tūwharetoa, covering the districts of Tūrangi, Tāupo and Mangakino.
The Perinatal Kaitiaki is responsible for providing the Maternal and Child Hub based component of Tāupo District’s community based primary perinatal mental health service – Tōu Kanohi Ki Te Rawhiti. You will provide support to hapū māmā and those with pēpi under 12 months who experience, or are at risk of experiencing, mental wellbeing challenges and distress. You will also undertake ongoing assessment of clients and provide a programme of one-to-one and group-based sessions that are evidence based in support.
