Mō te tūnga | The role 

This is a 12-month Fixed Term position. We are looking for 2  reliable fixed term Training Facilitators to roll-out field staff training for the next phases of the 2023 Census. You will be facilitating the face-to-face training of diverse groups of field staff, so you must be able to convey key messages and complex concepts to a high quality, simply, and to ensure understanding and consistency across the country.

Starting salary: $49,326 - $66,735 negotiable, depending on experience

This is a fast-paced programme of work. To hit the ground running we're hoping you'll bring the following skills and experience:  

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to understand and easily convey complex concepts to an SME level
  • Organised and well presented
  • Able to travel - a valid NZ Driving Licence is also required
  • A positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
