Moana New Zealand’s oysters are farmed in the pristine tidal waters of Aotearoa and our Pacific oysters perfectly capture the freshness and vitality of the waters they are harvested from.

In late 2020 we launched the Tio (Oyster)Transformational Project. The project embraces new technology, precision farming and is an integral part of our journey to deliver a profitable, sustainable & safe business, which generates pride and trust in our people and Iwi shareholders.
A newly created role, the Project Team Leader - Farm will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating farm tasks and deliverables related to the transition of our oyster farms to a new flip farm system.
Key areas of accountability:
- Onsite project management
- Hands on people management & development – Fixed Term Farm Worker & Basket Making Teams
- Leadership, engagement, performance management and training
- Recruitment, onboarding, and inductions
- Performance & reporting
- Continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and hands on people leader, project coordinator and operational professional, with excellent communication and engagement capability and stakeholder development expertise.
Down to earth, results focused, and super organized, you will have an impressive track record of building teams, lifting engagement, and implementing robust health, safety and welling processes and initiatives to ensure our people, are home safe every day.
You will have experience and a natural flair for delivering training workshops to frontline workers, that drives employee understanding, awareness, and the application of business fundamentals, embedding a collective way of working, and getting the basics right, every time.

Physically fit, enjoys the outdoors, and being on the water and able commit to a minimum of 18-month assignment is essential.
