Raukura Haurora O Tainui is a Māori Hauora Organisation that provides integrated health and wellbeing services in the Tamaki and Waikato regions.  We are a growing organisation and committed to improving the quality, delivery and outcomes in hauora and community services.

Do you want to make a real difference in Māori wellbeing?  Then come join our join our team as a Navigator supporting our burglary prevention programme.  You will be working closely with the Team Leader and support the transition and reintegration of offenders back into our communities.   You will be responsible for creating individual plans, tracking progression and providing support so they can successfully change behaviour and stop the cycle of offending.

Your attributes:

  • Ideally has 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar role
  • Case management knowledge
  • Great level of understanding of risk factors association with offending
  • Experience in conflict resolution and stress management
  • Able to build relationships with diverse people from different cultures
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideally hold a Level 4 Health Certificate or equivalent
  • Good understanding of Tikanga Māori and Kiingitanga initiatives is desirable
  • Believe and have a passion for what can be achieved
