Exciting new Wellington venture! Authentically Kiwi, Kuikui Lane is a new bar with grounded roots. We are 100% NZ made, working towards 100% NZ produce, promoting local and sustainable practises.

We are currently seeking experienced Wait Staff & Bartenders to join our team. If you are passionate about exceptional customer service, Aotearoa, Food, Beverage, Culture and Self Development we want to hear from you!


  • Following directions and examples of senior staff and managers
  • Knowledge of our story and specifics for art/materials
  • Open to learning Te Reo and other Tikanga Maori (customs)
  • Recommending drinks and dishes with full knowledge of product and daily specials
  • Knowledge on gift card, voucher and cash payments
  • Ability to use till system
  • Communicating with customers to resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction. Relay all
  • issues to manager on duty
  • Adhering to checklists provided, keeping the restaurant clean and orderly at all times
  • Running food, drinks and resetting tables
  • Up selling products to enhance sales and customers experience
  • Following training plans set out by managers
  • Answering phones and greeting customers in a timely manner
  • Building rapport with the customers, getting to know locals and chatting in a friendly
  • professional manner to guests

  • Professional and outgoing personality
  • Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
  • Good English and Te Reo is a definite bonus
  • Experience in restaurant industry
  • Available evenings, weekends and holidays
