We have an exciting opportunity, following a resignation, and are looking for the right person to continue the mahi with us. Are you looking to develop your hautūtanga in the health and wellbeing environment? Can you bring your leadership and management skills, your competency in Te Reo and Tikanga and the ability to move confidently within Te Ao Māori to contribute to our mahi in closing the Māori health inequity gap for our 90,000 Māori enrolled population? The Pinnacle Group has a goal of becoming a bi-cultural organisation, of playing its part and creating a culture that embraces Te Ao Māori. We are committed to improving population health outcomes and health equity for Māori through the development of a thriving general practice network. You’ll be working with the wider Pinnacle team to ensure our practices are well supported to deliver high quality services in alignment with the needs of Pinnacle’s Māori population.
Reporting directly to Helen, our Chief Executive, this role is responsible for providing leadership to the development and implementation of our strategyto drive continuous improvement of Pinnacle’s responsiveness to Te Tiriti oWaitangi across our Midland rohe.
To ensure Pinnacle’s strategy, work programmes and clinical services are aligned in our goal, the ability of the Director to lead and actively manage strategic relationships and partnerships with iwi and Māori organisations across the Midland area is integral to the successful delivery of the organisations’ strategic objectives for Māori.
